The internal supply chain consists of 2 production sites and laboratories (The Netherlands / Thailand), warehouses, worldwide sales offices and a network of agents and distributors located around the world.

Global Supply Chain Manager

As Global Supply Chain Manager you report to the Chief Operations & Technology Officer. On a daily basis you're leading the Supply Chain team consisting of the Logistic Service Manager, Foreman Expedition, Coordinator Planning and Demand Planner. In this fast changing environment you will have a leading role in collaborating with stakeholders within the Global Supply Chain (Sales, Purchasing, Production and Suppliers)

You're responsible for the Supply Chain process and team which includes the planning of production, inventory control, logistics and distribution. You ensure that every step of the process is functioning effectively to avoid costly delays and lost sales opportunities. By reviewing existing procedures and examining opportunities to streamline production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and financial forecasting you're continuously developing the Supply Chain. Next to this you develop your team of professionals by coaching, motivating and stimulating them.

Your result areas are:

• Process Planning & Management ( S&OP - Flowmanagement from procurement up till customer delivery - cross-functional collaboration internal and external )
• Cost Reduction & Process Improvement ( Optimizing Inventory levels - Contract negotiation )
• Leadership & Coaching ( Structural meetings - monitoring performance - talent development - planning )
• Reporting, Analyses & Control ( Monitor and develop relevant KPI's - provide reports for decision making )

Our ideal candidate is a natural leader, result-oriented, customer focused, a teamplayer, innovative and an ambitious supply chain manager. He or she has excellent influencing skills and driven by team-performance.

• Bachelor / Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or Economics
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within an international organization
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch
